    Description

    The Valknut (coined from Old Norse valr, "slain warriors" and knut, "knot") is a symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles. It appears on a variety of objects from the archaeological record of the ancient Germanic peoples. This symbol is noble and mysterious.  Partial translation has been lost in records long ago. It is thought that the Valknut is a symbol of folk-remembrance, sacrifice, honor, dedication, even love, for the act of dying in battle for our people is a true act of love. This horn is hand carved from all natural horn.  It has been polished inside and out.  A food safe sealant coats the interior of the horn.  A Valknut symbol is engraved on the front. A beautifully crafted brass band with Celtic weave lines the lip.   The tip has a carved crocodile that is made from genuine brass.  This horn will look great in your hand at your next party.
    *Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax to coat the inside to keep from cracking and the inside drying out.  Natural imperfections may be visible on this item. Please remember this is a natural item and each piece is unique.
